The BMX Provincial series wrapped up on Sunday, August 14, with races 6 and 7 being held in Stoney Plain.

914 riders from across the Province competed in the 2 day event, including 55 riders from the Airdrie BMX club.

Alexandra Reeve continued her winning streak from the previous weekends rides, winning 1st place on both Saturday and Sunday in the 13 year-old novice female races.

For 5 year-old rider Xaiden Burt, it was another double win in the 5 year-old intermediate rider category.

In total the Airdrie club earned 14 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze over the course of the 2 day event.

Riders now have 1 week to prepare for the Cycling Canada National Championships being held in Calgary on August 25-28.
