The Airdrie Bisons couldn't seem to find an edge in a loss to the Calgary North Stars on Saturday (January 26).

The Bisons faced a barrage of goals from the North Stars early in the first period. At the first intermission, the North Stars were up 4-0. They followed that up with two unanswered goals in the second.

It wasn't until the third period that the Bisons got on the scoreboard. Forward Jett Jones was able to put one in the back of the net with assists from Ethan Strang and Joel Shoemaker.

Ultimately, it wasn't enough, as the North Stars made off with the win 6-1.

The Bisons are back in action tonight when they take on the Knights of Columbus Pats at home. The game starts at 4:15pm at the Rob Ebbsen Arena.
