It was a tough weekend for the Airdrie CFR Chemicals Bisons as they hit the road to Sherwood Park and Edmonton.

Last Saturday (October 14th), the team was shut out by the J. Ennis Kings 4-0.

Goaltender Steven Bacovsky made 18 saves in the loss while Bryce Bader was the star of the game for the Kings with 2 goals.

The next day, the Bisons traveled to Edmonton to face the Knights of Columbus Pats. It was a tight game to the final buzzer, with the Knights holding on to a 2-1 victory.

Nickolas de Beurs scored the only goal for the Bisons midway through the second period with a helper from Luke Jensen.

The Bisons will be back at the Ron Ebbesen arena this weekend, first to face the Lloydminster Bandit Energy Bobcats on Saturday (October 21st) and the the Fort Saskatchewan BP Rangers on Sunday (October 22nd).
