The Airdrie "AAA" Midget Bisons lost their second exhibition game of the weekend to international opposition last night (December 23) in Cochrane.

In another tuneup for the Mac's Midget Tournament which starts Boxing Day in Calgary, the Bisons faced off with the Belarus U-17 National Team at the Totem One Arena at the Spray Lakes Sawmill Family Sports Centre.

In a tight game, Belarus outshot the Bisons 39 - 32 and went on to a 3 - 2 win over Airdrie.  Vladimir Alistrov got the winner for Belarus with under three minutes to play in the third period.  

Mark Zachary and Ryan Ries scored goals for the Bisons who also lost Friday night, falling 6 - 2 to the Hungarian U-18 National squad.

After they eat some turkey tomorrow, the Bisons start the Mac's with a 12:45 pm game on Boxing Day against the Valley West Hawks.
