After two games, the Airdrie Bisons have their first win of the Mac's Midget tournament.

Yesterday's (December 27) win came at the expense of the Ontario Jr. Reign, who were vanquished by the Bisons 4-3.

Airdrie's Mark Zachary opened the scoring at 7:31 of the first period, before Ontario roared with three straight goals. By the end of the second, the Bisons were down 3-1.

That's when the herd starting thundering for the team as Jett Jones, Tristan Lambert and Cayde Augustine scored in the third period to clinch the 4-3 win.

The Bisons will try to do it all again this morning in the Father David Bauer Arena in Calgary when they face the Regina Pat Canadians at 9:00am.

In their only other game of the tournament so far, the Pat Canadians tied 3-3 with the Valley West Hawks.
