Yep, Fatherhood is coming ever so quickly for me!

In case you’re wondering, we are 32 weeks along with twins, aka, they could come at any minute.

After a recent false alarm, spending time in the hospital til 3 am, the reality of holding two babies in real life is becoming...well, a reality.

So how do I prepare for becoming a dad? The short answer is...I can’t really prepare. There is though, a lot of excitement coming my way.

Over the last couple of months, my wife and I have been putting the finishing touches on the nursery (see below) and getting the necessary items (clothing, beds, diapers, diapers and diapers).

The thought of finally holding our baby boy and girl after years of trying and waiting actually brings tears to our eyes.

Every time we see little kids or people walking with babies in their strollers in our neighbourhood we can’t help but feel happy knowing that that will soon be us.

Of course, right now I have to live through the anxiety and joy of being a dad, but I can’t do it alone.

Thankfully I’ve had a few Facebook pages to help me out and gimme a good laugh from time to time including Airdrie Dads, Lad Baby and How To Dad.

If you’re a Dad and have any tips as I get ready for this new experience, lemme know.

Cheers
