It's another busy weekend for the Airdrie Thunder and the Cochrane Generals as they spend yet another weekend moving up in the Heritage Junior Hockey League.

The Thunder started off on the right foot, winning their game against the Okotoks Bisons on Friday, October 28, leaving with a win of 3-2.

There wasn't much time for a break, however, as they played again on Saturday, October 29, against the High River Flyers at the Ron Ebbesen Arena. The team took another win, playing to a 5-2 victory.

Meanwhile, the Cochrane Generals found themselves struggling at their game on Friday night while they played against the Mountainview Colts and didn't manage to get the points needed for a win, losing 3-6.

The Generals took their revenge against the Colts on Saturday however, winning 8-4.
