Airdronian country music star and teacher, Brandon Lorenzo, had a busy week during the Calgary Stampede, performing over 20 shows.

“A lot of it was like, three, four shows a day. Honestly, it got to the point where I couldn't even remember what day it was. It was great.”

Out of all the shows, Lorenzo says one sticks out in his mind.

“Whiskey Rose is pretty brand new to Calgary in general. They put up a tent in the parking lot beside them and we got to play in there. It was great because they were saying it was the first tent that they've had on 17th Avenue since like, the 90s. So that was pretty cool.”

Other than the Stampede, Lorenzo says many other things are going on in his music career.

“We actually just released a brand-new single on the first Friday of the stampede called “Another Round Of You”. It's available on all streaming platforms, and it's actually hitting the radio in August.”

Lorenzo also mentioned that he has some cool things on the way, but he can't talk about them just yet. His next upcoming show is at the Gray Eagle Resort and Casino opening up for Randy Houser.

Lorenzo also mentioned he hopes he could be back at the Stampede next year doing even bigger things.
