A snowfall warning that was in effect for Airdrie and many surrounding areas has ended.

Despite the snowfall warning ending, highways around Airdrie continue to be hazardous. Motorists are reminded to exercise caution and drive to the conditions.

Although there is no more snow forecast in the short term, temperatures will remain cold. Saturday evening will see a windchill near -33, while Sunday's daytime high is forecast at -15.

Slightly warmer temperatures are expected in the coming days, and it appears that by the end of next week, Airdrie could see temperatures on the plus side, with a possibility of eight degrees Celsius.
