The latest COVID-19 numbers have been released from the province on another day Deena Hinshaw doesn't host an in-person press conference. She is expected to be back in front of the camera tomorrow.

Another drop in active cases today going from 14,785 down to 14,555. That's a decrease of 230 cases from 14,741 tests done in the last 24 hours.

Of these active cases, 921 people are in hospital with 152 in ICU. Hospitalizations across the province have continued to slowly, but steadily, climb despite the drop in total active cases.

To date, over 84,000 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19. 1,046 have sadly passed away. 

City of Airdrie active cases rose to 166. Nearly 1,400 Airdronians have recovered from the virus. Airdronian deaths remain at 8.

In Rocky View County the number of active cases slightly rose to 89.
