The AC (Airdrie-Cochrane) Avalanche have completed their first series in this COVID-19 altered season in the U16 Division of the Alberta Elite Hockey League and they did it perfectly.

Sunday (November 9) the Avs completed a three-game sweep over the Okotoks Oilers with a 7 - 4 victory.  During the series, the Avalanche showed their offensive talent scoring 19 goals while only allowing nine by Okotoks.

Airdrie's Wyatt Bailey was an offensive juggernaut in the 7 - 4 win, scoring a hat-trick as well as adding three assists for a six-point night.

Jaxson Black, Haruki Morikawa, and Tyson Sandhu also had goals for Airdrie.

The Avs are now on their mandated two-week break to ensure the health of their players amidst the pandemic.  They'll return to play for the start of their next series Friday, November 27th in Medicine Hat against the SEAC Tigers.
