The AC Avalanche recently named their new Head Coach but he’s no stranger to the organization.

Terry Sydoryk was named the new top man for the Avalanche, returning to the club that he coached just a few years ago.

Sydoryk led the Avalanche to a Sutter Cup title in the 2012/2013 season and a Silver Medal at Provincials.

“The league is unique in that it’s a high calibre of hockey,” says Sydoryk, “As a coaching staff we’ll be working to develop the entire roster and coaching to get the most out of each athlete along the way.”

Sydoruk last coached the Calgary North team at last week’s Alberta Cup Tournament where they lost to Team South in the C-Final.

Last year, the AC Avalanche finished 12th in the AMMHL South Division with 19 points.
