Airdrie's Brandon Tran didn't hold back when thanking those who helped him play Football.

Last week, the WH Croxford student praised his coaches, teammates, and family members on Facebook not long after winning Most Valuable Player for the Croxford Football team.

"They didn't only teach me how to play football really, they taught me how to be a person, how to do everything. How to be a team player and it kind of just progressed from there on."

The Croxford Running Back and Lineman said that the past year at WH Croxford was a memorable one, especially with the community support.

"It was awesome to see the amount of people we had come out. We had about 50 to 60 people at the beginning of the year, which we didn't think would happen being a second/third year school."

As for his future in Football, Tran says that anything is possible.

"I know that if I definitely don't play Football and I stay close to home, I'll be coming back to coach a team. I've got offers from a bunch of different teams saying that I could come back and coach so I know that's a door open for me."
