Airdrie police are looking for a man that committed two armed robberies in the Airdrie and Crossfield area today (March 20).
Around 11:00am, RCMP were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Crossfield Pharmacy on Railway Street, where the man entered the store with a knife and demanded prescription drugs. The man was seen fleeing south on foot along Railway Street.
Just after noon, a man with the same description committed a similar armed robbery at the Sandstone Pharmacy on 8th Street in Airdrie, where he made off with cash and pharmaceuticals.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 6'0" tall with a medium build. At the time, he was wearing a grey hoodie, blue or black jeans, a black backpack, sunglasses and a face mask with white lines.
