Didsbury RCMP are investigating after an incident with an off-highway vehicle sent a mother and daughter to the hospital on Saturday, August 13.

At around 3:30p.m., RCMP and EMS were dispatched to a rural area approximately 5km south of Water Valley.

According to RCMP, an off-highway vehicle had gotten stuck in the mud and when it was being pulled free, it lost control and struck the two bystanders.

The 41-year-old female and her 12-year-old daughter were transported to a Calgary hospital via ground ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP continue to investigate the incident and no charges have been laid at this time.
