Airdrie RCMP is warning the public about potential harm to their pets.

On Jan. 16, 2021, at approximately 11:00 a.m, Airdrie RCMP was called to a suspicious item/activity in the Ravenswood neighborhood, located in Airdrie, Alta. Several pieces of raw meat with rice were located on all four corners of various intersections in the Ravenswood neighbourhood. Along with the raw meat, there was a one-dollar coin (loonie) located. 

RCMP are warning the public to keep their pets in their yards and on a leash while out. RCMP are unsure why the meat and loonies were left in these specific areas so please take extra precaution when walking with pets or children.
