Some of those include Airdrie Puppy Pals, Airdrie Music Lessons, Ambition Performing Arts, Nose Creek Players, and World Class Taekwon Do. Betina Fillion, the Treasurer and Secretary of the Kalix Legacy Foundation, talked about having a booth at the festival. "There are lots of people in the community who are out and about today. It's been great to see some new faces, as well as friendly returnees." She said the foundation is grateful for the chance to connect with the community, extend its outreach, and hopefully make a positive impact on those they serve. "It really just allows us to connect with families who we can help with our program and funding, as well as connect with sponsors and other community members who have supported us in the past." Fillion concluded by saying airdrieFEST is a great representation of what the city has to offer to its residents. airdrieFEST started as a small community celebration in 2010, but has grown ever since.
