Before you dive head first into scarves, packing their lunchboxes, and PSL's, knock some last minute activities off your summer to-do list.

Go floating on the Bow River - a great way to catch some rays and catch up with friends. Or a super awesome date idea.

Hit the mountains and go camping or hiking,

Spend as much time as possible in your backyard because once the snow starts, it'll be indoor entertaining for the next 8 months (probably).

Commit to only wearing shorts or dresses until it becomes too cold to wear them. Remember complaining about all the layers you hate wearing in winter?

Hang out at the water park. The park closes around the end of August (weather permitting).

Check out the weekly farmers market in Airdrie, located in Jensen Park each Wednesday during the summer. Time is ticking, only a few weeks left!

Bike, rollerblade, and jog as much as you can. Your car or public transit will be the only bearable mode of transportation once it gets cold.

Take advantage of Chinook Winds park because there's a ton of fun stuff to do. Baseball, basketball, skate park, volleyball, the list goes on! Have fun :)
