The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is restricting commercial vehicles from using the far left lane on a section of the Coquihalla Highway in BC. The province is calling it the ‘No Trucks in the Left Lane’ program and says other highway sections in B.C.’s Interior could fall under the program as well.

They say because most of the issues in winter involve semis and end up blocking traffic but also they want to keep a good flow of traffic on area highways.

Slower traffic keep right signs, don't seem to work in Alberta for most drivers, do you think if we instituted this policy we would see better flow on our area highways?
