Fortis Alberta was reporting low voltage and partial power outages throughout Airdrie that was affecting multiple neighbourhoods. According to Fortis Alberta, they have fixed the problem.

The affected neighbourhoods include:

  • Prairie Springs
  • Cooper's Crossing
  • Windsong
  • Bayside
  • Midtown
  • Edgewater
  • Summerhill
  • Waterstone
  • Big Springs
  • Fairways
  • Woodside
  • Kings Heights
  • Ravenswood
  • Lanark
  • South Windsong
  • Hillcrest
  • South Point

According to Fortis Alberta over 1200 customers were affected. The cause of the low voltage and partial power outages is still unknown and still under investigation.

Crews fixed the situation as power was restored around 8 p.m.
