The Rocky View School Board of Trustees has decided that when the Williamstown school in Airdrie opens next year, it'll house students from kindergarten to Grade 4. The board wanted more parent feedback before confirming the grade structure and got it in a November meeting, according to RVS Superintendent Greg Bass.

Based on attendance areas, the Williamstown school will take in students from Reunion, Williamstown and Silver Creek. In 2013, the school will change to a kindergarten to Grade 5 format so students who attended Grade 4 the previous year can remain at the same facility. In 2014, the school will revert back to a kindergarten to Grade 4 model.
