It's Election Day in Alberta and time to get out and vote.

The polls open at 9 am and you have until 8 o'clock tonight to cast your vote. You should have received a "Where to  Vote" postcard in the mail within the last week or so that will tell you where to go to vote, or visit the Elections Alberta website to look up your polling station.

If your name is on the List of Electors you will not be required to produce identification prior to voting. If your name is NOT on the List of Electors, you'll need to produce a piece of government issued identification, such as an Alberta Driver's License or Alberta Identification Card. A full list of identification you are able to use is on the Elections Alberta website.

Employers are required by law to allow you three consecutive hours in which to vote, within the voting hours of 9 am to 8 pm.
