Not your typical donation item...

Volunteers at the Knox United Church Thrift Store in Didsbury got the surprise of their lives on Monday, December 11. They were unloading bags of donated clothing from their drop off bin in the morning and found an unloaded sawed-off .22 calibre rifle at the bottom of one of the bags.

The firearm was immediately taken to the Didsbury RCMP detachment.  It will be sent to the RCMP Forensic Laboratory in Regina to see if it can be linked to a crime.
