A 46 year-old Crossfield man was killed in a gruesome accident on a farm north of Cochrane, January 31.
The man was not a resident of the farm, but was working with the farm owners at the time of the accident.
Cpl. Mel Calahasen of the Cochrane RCMP says officers were called to the scene at about 5 pm. When they arrived, they found the man already deceased after what could be described as a freak accident.

Calahasen says the man leaves behind a wife. His name is not being released at her request.
