Cochrane RCMP were called to the scene of a bizarre single vehicle collision on Highway 66 approximately 5 km west of the McLean Creek Trail on the evening of July 31.

Cpl. Gary Fedrau of the Cochrane detachment has more details:

The three male occupants of the vehicle were all from Calgary and were injured in the collision. Fire and EMS arrived and after assessing their injuries, the driver was transported to hospital by STARS. The other two men were transported by ground ambulance, and all three were treated and released later in the evening.

RCMP say speed and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
