Are you Okay with Statistics Canada accessing your personal banking information?

Statistics Canada plans to build a new personal information bank with the current transaction data of hundreds of thousands of Canadians.

The organization has scooped up 15 years worth of credit rating information from a major credit bureau which includes millions of Canadians.

This data harvest was completed without the permission of those Canadians affected.

Are you okay with the government knowing your everyday transactions? What you purchase? When and where?
