Airdrie RCMP are currently on scene of a police incident in the area of Kingsland Close SE in Airdrie.

There will be a heavy police presence in the area.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and to not share photographs of deployed officers on social media until the incident has been resolved.

The area of concern is currently contained and there is no danger to the public.
