The Airdrie RCMP issued a clarification on what was previously reported to be a moose attack. 
 
Airdrie RCMP is currently on the scene of a medical emergency.
 
There are moose in the area and residents are being asked to give the moose their space and not to approach the moose.

No further updates are expected.
