The annual Airdrie Lioness Christmas Hamper is officially underway and the Club is still looking for volunteers and donors.

Located at the Carlton House on East Lake Avenue, the doors open on Wednesday, December 2 until deliveries are made on December 20.

Arlene Sieppert, Airdrie Lioness Spokesperson, says two toy hampers have been placed at Wal-Mart and London Drugs for those who wish to donate.

"Our theme for the year is 'Cold Weather, Warm Hearts' we are asking for donations of hats, toques, mitts and scarves, that we can include in our hampers," she says.

"At this time, we are looking for extra food donations, gifts, toys, pet food, baby accessories, or gift cards."
