An increase in recoveries coupled with no new confirmed cases means Airdrie's active number of COVID-19 cases have dropped.

According to the most up to date statistics from the Government of Alberta, there are 13 active cases of COVID-19 in the City of Airdrie and 99 recoveries.

Rocky View County is down to four active cases while 91 residents have recovered so far.

Across Alberta, 1,444 cases remain active and recoveries are up to 13,718.

41 people are in hospital, with six of those in intensive care. 253 Albertans have died from the virus.

On Friday, 111 new cases were confirmed province-wide based on 11,979 test results.
