Grain Growers Get New Executive Director

The Grain Growers of Canada has named Fiona Cook as its next Executive Director.

Grain Growers President Gary Stanford says Cook brings a passion for agriculture, and 25 years of association experience to the group.

She holds two degrees in economics from McGill University, and has previously held senior positions at the Chemistry Industry Association and the Forestry Products Association.

“I look forward to serving the 50,000 farmers that GGC represents, and helping to develop the strong, collaborative relationships that are essential to building credible, evidence-based public policy positions”, stated Cook.

She takes over the position May 9, 2016.
