Cochrane RCMP moved quickly to action after they received word of an incident in Morley.

Shortly after 2:30pm on Sunday (April 23), RCMP responded to a complaint of two men seen with a machete and rifle hiding in the bushes outside of a residence in Morley.

Cpl. Troy Savinkoff says with assistance of Police dog services, they were able to locate the weapons.

"We located the machete and an imitation firearm which is loaded with BBs."

Dallas Holloway from Morley has been charged with multiple offences including pointing of a firearm, possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.

Cpl. Savinkoff says both parties knew each other and was a targeted incident.
