Habitat for Humanity held a dedication ceremony for it's 6 new Airdrie homes on Tuesday, November 8.

Sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, came out to Ravenswood to welcome the families to the place where they will build stability and independence.

"We're very excited to be here, so hopefully they'll take us in with open arms, but we're really excited to be part of the community." said Nichole Horvath, Mother of two and new home owner.

The six families, which include 11 parents and 14 children, will be moved into their new homes by the end of November.

"For children, it means their first holiday season in a permanent home they can call their own." Lisa Hallet, Habitat for Humanity.
