Update 07/01/2016:

RCMP have now confirmed that the body found in a vehicle at the Costco in Balzac, is that of 42 year old Jonathan Martinez.

An autopsy was performed, and Police do not believe his death to be suspicious at this time.

 

Original 06/28/2016:

A body was found by the RCMP on Tuesday (June 28) morning inside a vehicle parked at the Costco in Balzac.

Police say the vehicle matched the description of the truck 42 year-old Cochrane man, Jonathan Martinez was driving when he went missing on June 22.

Martinez was believed to be heading to the Red Deer/Sylvan Lake area in his white 2006 GMC C5500 last Wednesday before he disappeared.

At this time the RCMP have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
