On December 9, Nadine Woitt, owner of Mezzanine Hair Studio, woke up to a call from her alarm company saying that someone had broken into her salon.

When Woitt arrived at the shop, she was greeted by a strange sight: the lock on the door had been popped out, and a pile of clothes and blankets were strewn out front. Woitt contacted RCMP who responded promptly.

"We came in to find that we had a bunch of product and cash missing from the shop. Very fortunate though that there was no damage done, so I guess if there's a bright side that would be it," said Woitt.

Luckily, Woitt says here supplier was able quickly replenish her stock, but she hopes the community will keep an eye online for anyone local trying to sell Redken products.

"If anybody should happen to see Redken products, because we are exclusive Redken, out on VarageSale or Kijiji or any social media out there, if they would either report it to us or to the RCMP that would be fantastic.

We reached out to RCMP for a comment on this incident, and are awaiting their response.
