Canadian icon Terry Fox had a dream.

He wanted to fundraise to find a cure for cancer and to bring Canadians together for a cause.  His dream was ultimately realized.

On, Sunday, September 18, men, women, and children will be lacing up their running shoes to participate in this years Terry Fox run.

The 2 hour race will be held at East Lake Park, with runners taking their mark at 10 am.

You don't have to be a runner to participate. Kyla Van Leeuwen, Race Coordinator said that you can walk, run, roller blade, bike or even dance your way around the 2 km track.

To help keep the kids entertained there will be a face painting clown, food trucks and a photo opportunity with this years rodeo princess and queen.
