Airdrie's MLA has brought her fight for home schools to the Legislature.

Angela Pitt spoke to her colleagues in the Assembly, continuing to express her concerns for the NDP's decision to Close Trinity Christian and Wisdom School.

"The minister and this NDP Government need to start thinking more about the human impact their heavy handed governance has on everyday Albertans. Especially when it comes to the de-accreditation of an education program that serves so many Albertan students."

Pitt said the move continues to impact families in Airdrie who relied on the home school.

"In Airdrie, I have heard from parents who have children with Autism and the traditional bricks and mortar school system just does not serve their kids needs."
