Airdrie Residents woke up to a city blanketed in white on Wednesday morning.

A low-pressure system moved in Tuesday evening dropping 2-4 centimetres of snow overnight.

Environment Canada is forecasting a 30 per cent chance of flurries for Wednesday with a high of four degrees Celsius.

More flurries are possible for Wednesday evening, but the snow won’t stick around for long.

By Thursday Environment Canada said is predicting the sky will clear and we will likely see a high of seven degrees. Towards the weekend positive double-digit temperatures are also expected.
