The recent warm weather has brought the fire risk in Rocky View County to moderate prompting a Fire Advisory.

The County issued the advisory yesterday afternoon (May 2nd), meaning that all burning permits are prohibited until the advisory is lifted.

Incinerators, burning barrels and recreational campfires are also not allowed under the current advisory.

Gas powered stoves, barbecues and household fireplaces are still permitted.
