Don't be alarmed...but a local entrepreneur is about to walk into fire.

Airdrie's Lorne Osbourne will soon be pitching his service to the popular TV Show Dragon's Den.

"We're excited, nervous," said Osbourne. "I'm actually spending the whole week organizing, getting my numbers in place and making sure I don't look like an idiot on national television."

Osbourne's company, Provision Athletics, is a service that links you to a personal trainer through an app.

It's been a long time coming for Osbourne who owes a lot of his success to Airdrie's Smart Start program.

"When I sat in that room with all those other entrepreneurs in Airdrie I was like 'holy cow' there's so much passion and so many amazing other businesses in here. It started making me reflect back on my business...why just do this on a small scale, I can really help a lot of people here."

Osbourne and his crew will leave for Toronto tomorrow (April 27th) and film his Dragon's Den pitch on Sunday
