RCMP in Airdrie are hoping that someone can identify a woman, in very distinctive clothing, who entered an underground parkade in the Kingsview area of Airdrie just over a week ago.

On Saturday, September 8th at around 6:30 pm, a woman driving a white, newer model, Ford Explorer, entered the underground parkade at 6 Kingsview Road SW in Airdrie.  Once inside, the woman snooped around and car-prowled several vehicles.

She was able to load up and steal a red mountain bike and some tools.  She also managed to break into a storage locker but didn't remove any items from it.

The female suspect then left the parkade, driving the same vehicle.  Video surveillance wasn't able to capture the license plate clearly.

The suspect is described as follow:

  • She is in her late 20's or early 30's and has a darker complexion.
  • She was wearing a very distinct black dress or long t-shirt with a skeleton on it and was wearing very distinct tall boots that looked gladiator style
  • She has long black hair and tattoos on her right arm

If you have information about this incident or can identify the suspect, you're asked to get in touch with the Airdrie RCMP at 403 945-7200 or call your local police.  If you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
