Airdrie Mounties are hoping to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a close call between a vehicle and a pedestrian just south of Nose Creek School last Thursday.

RCMP say a woman pushing a stroller and walking a dog was crossing the street near the intersection of Bayside Boulevard and Baywater View at approximately 12:55 p.m on April 4.

According to RCMP, a white BMW driving at a high rate of speed narrowly missed hitting the woman.

RCMP would like to speak to the woman, as well as the driver of a black SUV that was passed on the right side by the BMW and witnessed the incident.

Anyone with information can call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
