Airdrie RCMP continue to investigate a break and enter that occurred in September, and have now turned to the public for help identifying the suspect.

"We've been able to obtain some video surveillance of a lone male who broke into Airdrie Towing & Recovery," said Cst. Dan Martin.

At approximately 2:20am on September 17, a man broke into the ATR Logistics compound on East Lake Way a stole a vehicle. On the way out, the man rammed the front gate, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

"In stealing this vehicle, the suspect caused significant damage to the fencing between ATR logistics, and it was quite costly to repair," said Cst. Martin.

Employees noted the damage when they arrived later that morning and contacted RCMP to report the loss and the damage.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, around six feet tall with a medium build. At the time, he was wearing a black North Face jacket with a white zipper, blue jeans. He also had a green hiking backpack.
