Police in Calgary are searching for two men believed to be involved in a string of robberies including one at a store in Airdrie.

Investigators believe the two suspects were behind a robbery at the Petro Canada on East Lake Circle on Mar. 30.

It's alleged the men also carried out eight robberies at stores in Calgary between Mar. 29 and Apr. 7.

In each case, one man would enter the store and show a weapon while demanding cash from an employee.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the robberies, and although one suspect enters the stores, police believe the two men may be working together.

One of the suspects is described as a 25- to 30-year-old man, between 5’6" and 5’8" tall. In some of the robberies, he was wearing a yellow hoodie with a grey vest overtop. In another robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie and blue sweatpants with yellow or neon stripes.
