Airdrie RCMP are investigating a road rage incident that occured on February 4 near Balzac.

According to Police, a family was driving along Highway 566 when a white sedan began taunting them by tailgating, flashing their brights and changing speeds. Both vehicles eventually came to a stop, at which point a man in the white sedan pointed what appeared to be a gun at the family. The family left the scene immediately and called RCMP.

The man is described as being in his late 40's with a darker complexion, a little black moustache and indented cheeks with a mole on the left cheek. The white sedan was a newer model, possibly a Ford Taurus.
