A local Mother says her and her family are more than grateul for the support of the community.

Last Thursday Rosalind Davies' son Josh had his diabetes kit stolen from the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

Although the device hasn't been recovered, the Davies family has received encouragement and help from all over Airdrie in the past week.

In a Facebook post, Davies says 'We have had an overwhelming response of help!!!! It is a blessing to know how many strangers come forward to help someone in need, a post, a comment, a phone call, a donation!'

You can read the Davies' full Facebook response here.

RCMP are still looking for the man who was seen on surveillance entering the locker room at Ron Ebbesen that day (March 2nd) .
