As of 9:00 this morning (September 6th), Alberta Wildfires says the blaze is covering 1.25 hectares of land.
The fire was reported last night around 6:40, with 2 Air Tankers, 4 Helicopters and 21 Wildland Firefighters sent to battle the blaze.
The fire is now classified as "being held" after it was earlier declared out of control.*
Right now it's not clear exactly where the fire started but thankfully no nearby communities will be affected.
