Airdrie RCMP have launched an investigation after being notified of a lottery ticket theft that occurred at the Rexall Drug store on Stonegate Drive.

According to RCMP, the event occurred on August 5, 2016, at 4:20 p.m.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 25-30 years old, wearing a black Under Armour shirt with white pants, sunglasses on his head, and a gold watch on his left wrist.

RCMP said that while the store clerk was helping another customer, the suspect stole $65 in lottery tickets.
