The 2016 SMARTstart program wrapped up on Thursday, November 3.

Bringing entrepreneurs together with local business owners, SMARTstart aims to help build and support the business community.

"What an amazing opportunity to meet with and network other businesses, and really get the mentor-ship and support. It really grew to so much more," said Katie Morgan, Participant/President of Social Supper.

Several local business start ups were paired with a community mentor, teaching them lessons in business and how to be successful.

Airdrie Chamber of Commerce, Airdrie Economic Development, and Community Futures Centre West partnered together to create the program.
