Leduc RCMP have arrested and charged a woman from Airdrie after she was caught during a break and enter in progress at a business in Leduc's industrial area.

At around 1:30 am on Saturday, July 25th, the police received a report of the break and enter in progress. 

When they attended the business, Leduc RCMP located a woman hiding under a truck.  The suspect was arrested when she tried to flee the scene on foot.  

30-year-old Lindsay Gallie of Airdrie was charged with:

  • Break and enter to a business
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Resisting arrest by a peace officer
  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Failure to comply with release order conditions - 3 counts

Gallie was held for a judicial hearing and has been released to appear in Leduc Court on August 27th.
